Salute to Our Nation's Truck Drivers!

You might have noticed Somerset Logistics' banner advertisement this week on Internet Truckstop's website.  Somerset salutes our Nation's truck drivers during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (September 16-22).  Somerset realizes that we would not be in business without these dedicated and often overlooked professionals.  The American Trucking Association's President Bill Graves highlighted a few accomplishments in the following statements.  "Each year, America's professional truck drivers deliver the nation's most essential goods - food, fuel, medicine, clothing and dozens of other products. To get the job done, these skilled professionals logged nearly 400 billion total miles in 2011, handling nearly 70% of the nation's freight."

Our nation and our economy depend on truck drivers. Somerset also fully realizes we could not have achieved our success without partnering with quality drivers.  We treat our carrier partners and drivers as customers.  Our high standards, positive communication, and professional service to the driver hopefully puts us a cut above the normal freight broker. Somerset always has two customers on every load, one being the shipper, and the other being the carrier. Somerset makes every effort to manage both with caring professionalism.
